The World Brand Design Society extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the agencies and creative minds who generously shared their imaginative projects in the WBDS Awards 2023/24. Additionally, a resounding congratulations is in order for all the well-deserving winners.

The WBDS Agency Design Awards for this year maintained a high level of competitiveness, with our judges and editors maintaining strict standards throughout all judging processes. Out of the thousands entries from around the globe, only 320 works were chosen to receive an award. The breakdown includes 7x Black, 32x Golds, 92x Silver, 129x Bronze and 67 Commended Awards.

AGENCY OF THE YEAR

This year's World Brand Design Society Awards – Agency of the Year goes to KIND from Norway for the fourth year running. Winning 3x Golds, 9x Silvers, 14x Bronzes and 7x Commended.

KIND’s most notable Gold works include: Writing: Brand Writing that brings alive the branding of Veer, the world's first efficient, emission-free cargo fleet. With a bold identity and sustainable ethos, Veer aims to revolutionise the future of maritime freight.

KIND’s also won Gold for Hima Seafood Packaging Design: Integrated Product Development and Product Photography the world's largest land-based trout farm in Rjukan, Telemark. The photography emphasising environmental practices and unveils Silver Trout with ethereal elegance.

WBDS Best Agency Design Ranking started in 2018. As from the 2023/2024 season all points have been revised based on the following formula values: 1st = 5 points, 2nd = 4 points, 3rd = 3 points, Black = 5 points, Gold = 4 points, Silver = 3 points, Bronze 2 = Points, Commended = 1 Point. BEST AGENCY WORK OF THE YEAR

Best Agency Work of the Year goes to Auge Design from
Italy with their Ginori 1735's Heritage Boxes blend centuries-old elegance with modernity in porcelain packaging that is delightfully simple. Their collaboration with Fedrigoni introduces a bespoke Ginori blue pulp paper, uniting luxury, tradition, and innovation.

NOTABLE WORKS 

Other notable work include Hi! Estudio’s work Lobo Mexicano's mezcal bottle encapsulates a rich narrative—inspired by nomadic journeys, nature, and community. Beyond a beverage, the work symbolises cultural heritage, interactive experiences, and commitment to wildlife conservation and sustainability.

Also ARD Design Agency’s for Fiore project Perfume for Food which is a visually stunning standout concept. The product elevate the dining experience with a few drops of this unique perfume for food. Crafted from the finest essences of the Swiss Alps, Fiore blends flavours and aromas to redefine taste.

Backbone Branding’s amazing array of work, but just to name one would be Nature’s Post Tea Brand, this tea brand redefining packaging, transforming it into a conduit for nature’s essence. With unique numbering, illustrations, and a storytelling element, it offers an immersive, personalised touch.

Van Heertum Design crafted Enigma concept, a luxury brand, challenging to explore and push design boundaries. Enigma Luxury Brand was inspired by contrasts and shapes, the bottle, resembling a unicorn's horn and iceberg, symbolises mystery, fantasy, and hope.

The power of Gifting is well and is truly understood by Backbone Branding with their creation of 4U.am Gifting Platform's Vibrant Identity. 4U.am, is an online gift shop that has reshaped its brand identity with vibrant colours, a ribbon-inspired logo, powerful communication and personalisation.

Boundless Brand Design collaborated with Ballantine’s for prestigious whisky gift packs. The Ballantine’s Blended Scotch Whisky Gifting Packs inspired by clock cogs, the designs intricately blend with each whisky’s tasting notes, embodying the concept of 'Time Well Spent.'
